Privacy
1Visiting the site
No analytics, no tracking, and nothing loaded from another company: fonts, images and scripts all come from this domain. The site runs on our own server at Oracle Cloud in Frankfurt, delivered through Cloudflare, which serves it from a location near you and absorbs attacks before they reach the server.
The server keeps no record of which pages you view. Failures are written to a log along with the IP address, and the operating system and firewall keep technical records of connections. That is needed to keep the server secure, and the logs are deleted automatically. Cloudflare, standing in front of the server, keeps its own record of requests including your IP address, for the same security reason; from it we see visitor counts only, never a list of individual visits.
2One cookie
Switching language with EN/FI remembers your choice for a year, in a cookie called pn-lang. It holds two letters, fi or en, and nothing else: no identifier, no tracking. There are no other cookies, so there is no consent banner.
3Getting in touch
If you submit a project brief, email or call us, we receive your contact details and whatever you tell us about your project. We use it only to reply, to prepare an offer and to run the customer relationship — so the basis is answering your request and preparing a possible contract. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
4How long we keep it
Messages stay in our mailbox, and earlier correspondence may be kept for a long time: if you come back to something later, the previous conversation is there. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. If we do work together, accounting material is kept for as long as the law requires.
5Service providers
Visits, project-brief submissions and email you send us pass through Cloudflare. A submitted brief is delivered as an email through Brevo in France, and both it and direct email go on into a mailbox operated by Google. Cloudflare and Google are US companies, so your data may be processed outside the EEA under the EU-US data privacy framework.
6Your rights
You can ask for your data or a copy of it, have it corrected or erased, restrict how we use it, or object to its use, by writing to the address below. You can also complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
